Arlington, VA Church Seeks Worship Leader

537476_406672112705461_1557490386_aThe Grace Community Church, located just outside of Washington, D.C. in Arlington, VA, has begun a nation-wide search for a Worship Leader. As the first meaningful touch point for the gathered community, the Worship Leader plays an essential role in the ministry of a church whose vision is to be a church for people who don’t go to church.

Each week this gifted artist will be responsible for creating an inspiring portrait through words (both spoken and sung) which welcomes and invites those gathered to focus their hearts and voices on God. The ideal candidate for this position will be a quality vocalist and skilled instrumentalist with a working knowledge of music theory, prior experience leading worship services, an entrepreneurial aptitude, and a strong work ethic. That skill set will be supported by gifts of administration and coaching.

The Worship Leader will join an enthusiastic and dedicated ministry team led by John Slye, the founding pastor of Grace Community Church, a young, diverse, contemporary, non-denominational congregation. Founded on Christmas Eve 2000, the congregation has about 700 adults and 100 children who attend each week. A vibrant, mission-minded church committed to leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus, Grace Church focuses its ministry on relevant teaching, spiritual practices, life-changing relationships, and faith-building service.
