Director of Worship & Student Ministries

New Life Church (New Lenox, IL) has begun a nationwide search for a person willing and able to take up the responsibility of leading two vital ministries: Worship & Student Ministries. The ideal candidate for this position will be a humble and dedicated Christ-follower with a love for and desire to serve the local church. In addition, he or she will be a team player gifted in the areas of consensus building leadership, developing and implementing strategies, and recruiting and training volunteers.  The Director of Worship & Student Ministries will lead the weekly gathering of New Life Church and be the face of Student Ministries to the church and community.

New Life Church is dedicated to connecting people to God and to one another for their New Life in Christ. Through God’s power, the congregation celebrates God’s goodness together, communicates God’s grace, and creatively uses its gifts to reach out to our community. New Life a church focused on the community, with roots in the Christian Reformed Church in North America. The ministry of New Life, led by Pastor Ron Vanderwell, is supported by dedicated volunteers and an excellent facility.

The village of New Lenox is a dynamic village of approximately 25,000. It is located in Will County, one of the fasting growing counties in the state with a current population of nearly 700,000 residents. Accessible by two interstate highways, New Lenox is a natural location for regional shopping, entertainment, and hospitality. Hence, it is called “the Crossroads of Opportunity.” The newly opened Silver Cross Hospital has made New Lenox a regional healthcare destination. In addition, New Lenox successfully offers a wide range of educational options to area students for public, private, and higher education institutions. The village has been awarded the Governor’s Hometown Award for the past three years.
