The Living Hope Community Church (Fox Lake, WI), a young, multi-generational congregation, with a missional-church mindset, awaits the arrival of a new pastor. This congregation of about 150 people was planted in 1993 for the expressed purpose of influencing the Fox Lake region for Jesus Christ. Since then, the congregation has focused its efforts on “creating community where lives are fulfilled by following Christ.”
The ideal candidate for this position will be a general practitioner who has been called and equipped to serve the Lord and His Church in the area preaching, leadership, and pastoral care. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about reaching the unchurched for Christ and gifted to preach biblical and relevant messages to both seekers and the saved. The pastor’s effectiveness will be enhanced by authenticity, approachability, and creativity. Finally, the ideal candidate will embrace a Reformed theological perspective, be ordained by a Reformed denomination or possess the necessary requirements to be ordained by the Christian Reformed Church in North America.
