Lead or Co-Pastor Opportunity in Prince Edward Island

Charlottetown Christian Reformed Church

The Charlottetown Christian Reformed Church (Charlottetown, PEI) has begun a search for two pastors. The leadership of the congregation (Council) has determined to search first for the pastor responsible for preaching, worshiping, and equipping. Once this pastor is identified, a search for a second pastor will begin. The second pastor will be responsible for congregational life. The relationship between the two pastors will be determined after identifying the first pastor. The options include a co-pastor model or a Lead Pastor-Associate Pastor model. This is the position description for the first pastor.

The Lead or Co-Pastor will be responsible for preaching, worship, and equipping. The person who fills this position will have the privilege of preparing and delivering biblically relevant sermons, as well as planning and leading engaging worship services. As an equipper, this person will work alongside dedicated groups as a coach, mentor, and leader among leaders. As a pastor, this person will have the privilege of living life with the congregation and offering spiritual direction and counsel as opportunities for such present themselves.

The Charlottetown Christian Reformed Church is a vibrant, multi-generational congregation, with a busy nursery, an active seniors circle, and everything in between.
