New England Congregation Awaits Pastor

CampusThe First Congregational Church of Thomaston (CT)—a vibrant and historic New England congregation seeking to love God, one another, and their neighbors—awaits the arrival of its next pastor, a person of God characterized by humble devotion to Jesus Christ, a call to pastoral ministry, as well as a strong devotional and prayer life. The ideal candidate for this position will be a general practitioner who not only loves the local church, but has been equipped by our Triune God to serve the church in the areas of preaching, worship, leadership, and pastoral care. The ministry of the ideal candidate will be enhanced through dependence upon the Holy Spirit, authentic relationships, collegial leadership, and a passion to extend the witness of Christ into the community.
