Opportunity for Associate Pastor: Youth & Worship

Crossview_Fellowship.jpegThe Crossview Fellowship, located in Keokuk, IA, has begun a nationwide search for a dedicated and committed Associate Pastor willing to take up the responsibility of leading two vital ministries: Youth and Worship.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a dedicated Christ-follower with a clear sense of call to pastoral ministry, willing to learn and grow into that call. In addition, the ideal candidate will be characterized by an ability to provide visionary leadership, by passion and persistence, and by the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Finally, the ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, able not only to connect with youth but with their parents, graced by a shepherd’s heart as he lovingly guides the youth and their parents through the “twists and turns” of adolescence. As the point person for the weekly gatherings, the Associate Pastor will plan services, coordinate and lead rehearsals, as well as recruit and train volunteers.

Crossview Fellowship, whose motto is “Friends Becoming Family,” is a loving, non-denedge 1ominational, and Spirit-led congregation committed to impacting the community and influencing the world for Jesus Christ. The congregation is led by Pastor Kevin Hardcastle who embodies the desire of the church to live as authentic Christ-followers who value God’s Word by challenging the congregation to move beyond a consumer driven existence to lives of freedom in Christ.

The ministry of Crossview Fellowship is supported by an excellent facility. It includes a 6,500 square foot youth center, called “The Edge,” that houses a café, an auditorium, table games, an indoor basketball cage, and video games. It also includes a recently renovated Worship Center with a new digital sound system.
