Pennsylvania Church Seeks Pastor

logoEbenezer Faith Bible Church (Berwick, PA) has begun a search for her new pastor, a man of God characterized by humble devotion to Jesus Christ, a call to pastoral ministry, a strong devotional and prayer life, and a passion for evangelism and missions. The new pastor will have the privilege of serving the congregation and its community as an effective teacher and preacher of the Word of God, a consensus building servant-leader, and as a mentor and motivator of leadership and ministry workers.

EFBC is a vibrant, dynamic, healthy, multi-generational, prayerful, and unaffiliated congregation that acknowledges the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the Bible as the infallible guide to life and faith. The congregation hopes, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to celebrate the awesomeness of her Triune God. It has recently enjoyed a two-year season of renewal led by Interim Pastor Nigel Probert. During his tenure, the congregation has renewed its mission, clarified its values, and experienced numerical growth.

Lake GlennThe campus of the EFBC is located in a quiet, rural region of northeast Pennsylvania, rich in natural beauty and wildlife, seven miles from Berwick and six miles from Bloomsburg. In addition to the main facility, the campus includes a pavilion, an activity center, and a parsonage. The region, characterized by traditional values, is enriched by the Bloomsburg Fair, Knoebels Amusement Park, Geisinger Medical Center, Bloomsburg University and its 8,000 students, Briar Creek Lake Park, Ricketts Glen State Park, and outstanding schools, including Bloomsburg Christian School and Columbia County Christian School.
