Des Moines (IA) Christian Reformed Church Awaits New Pastor

logoThe Crossroads Fellowship Church, a regional fellowship of Reformed Christians serving the Des Moines (IA) metropolitan area, awaits the arrival of a new Senior Pastor. For over sixty years, this congregation has sought to disciple the body of believers to love God, love people, and serve the world. With the benefit of a beautiful and well-designed facility, (constructed in 2000), the congregation of 150 weekly attendees intentionally seeks to reach others for Christ and rejoice with those whom Christ calls as His own. The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity is characterized by a growing devotion to Jesus Christ as well as a deep love for the Reformed faith. Furthermore, the ideal candidate views himself as a general practitioner, gifted as a communicator and leader, with a passion for discipleship.

As for personal skills, the ideal candidate will relate well with a predominantly white-collar congregation of young professionals in the fast-paced context of the greater Des Moines area.

As for experience, the ideal candidate will be resourced to help the congregation navigate the unique challenges of a regional fellowship seeking to engage the community.

As for credentials, the ideal candidate will be an ordained pastor in the Reformed Church in America or the Christian Reformed Church in North America or be willing to seek ordination in the latter.
